I tried some "extreme" processing on this one.
Any comments welcome , positive or negative.

I'm getting a foreboding mood.... As if something evil may come this way. Perhaps it has? Is this a warning to avoid this place after dark? Or is all of this just a grim artifact of a profit crazed obsession of the original owner who found himself adding on whenever orders came... pastinmg on quickly and cheaply with no thoughts of morale or pshychic reward? And then when the orders stopped, so did the building and the jobs and any contribution this place made? So that now is it sucking back whatever comes near?
Interesting feeling - shivvery though.... But then, I told you I'm getting a foreboding mood.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks Ted. I usually get a few shivers before entering places like this :)
It was the Dunlop / Slazenger factory. (sporting goods)
There are golf and tennis ball moulds , tennis rackets , tennis ball fur , halves of squash balls , littering the inside of the factory. I always wonder about the people who have spent so much of their lives there.

I have no idea about b&w conversions , but here is my attempt anyway. This one without the keystone distortion correction. And another from the same factory.

Are your sure? These seem to be excellent examples of them. ;)
I will echo the other who felt this factory was super-creepy. Great photos.

Thanks all.
And a big thanks to Bottom Bracket for the B&W suggection.
Funny thing is I had allready done some B&W versions but posted the colour version
Don't worry Micheal , I reckon you have at least a few weeks left before they demolish the factory , maybe months. Right now would be a great time to get in there - lots of puddles inside after the rain..

dave did you go alone? did you get in from the left area in between the buildings? gate open then climb up a ladder type structure to the 1st floor then go round to the left on to the roof? or did you go in the room just up from the ladder? i went at like 3pm on a sunny day and was scared ****less :P had a torch but it was so damn dark

I usually go it alone. If you are not at least a bit scared when entering a place like that there's something wrong with you. I've been right through the place - it's good to have an idea how to get out of there fast. Windy days are the worst , all the loose stuff clanging around in he wind - muffles my own movements but impossible to tell if I'm alone. The ladder is a dead end - everywhere else will get you somewhere. So far I have found no squatters in there , get the odd scavenger , few graff artists.
