"Orange Street?" The tourist smirked. "Colonialists who built this town were way optimistic. Like, nobody'd ever grow oranges in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, right?"
Walking on by I smiled and murmurred, "Pity he's not seen our sunsets.";)

Very intriguing introduction to the great picture, Ted. I can see myself walking there asking that question ...

Beautiful composition! It looks as though you have deliberately added noise though.

You are correct Helen. This image is exactly and precisely the way I saw it... in my imagination. Which makes it very "natural" to me.:)
We are fortunate as photographers to live in the beginning of a time when all we can imagine we can create. And we are the first to investigate the potential. It thrills me to think about it. Why, I can even add grit to a city shot when it needs it. Couldn't do that with my old Nikons and wet darkroom. Nope.
Thanks for the kind words.

You know Olli, I actually overheard some very nice visitors muse something a lot like that on the street. And then on Friday evening I saw this pouring over those great twin steeples. And I had a brilliant idea (pun intended).
Thanks for noticing the way the written idea interacts. It was part of my "brilliant" moment. ;)
