How many tabs?

When I'm on POTN I always seem to get 4 or 5 IE tabs open, all on various different pages of POTN and keep switching between them all. Is this just me?

How many POTN tabs is the most you've had open at one time while browsing?

Ive had two at the most. Only when Im wanting to paste a link in another thread.

i use firefox but normaly have my homepage forum myspace potn times several

You must have your browser set to 'open new pages in another tab' (or words to that effect) - I get this with Firefox.
When you click on a link to another POTN thread a new window is opened (or a tab if you set the option)

Yes, but I usually open the tabs manually!

So many, I need to scroll through them. It got so bad, I put most of my favorite pages, along with my 5 forum indexes, to shortcuts below the address bar. That cuts down, so now I only usually have 6 or 7 open at once.

I use Firefox, by the way.

I just have one at a time, occasionally two as any links I click on open in a new tab.

I like to keep things simple. Tabs are great in moderation. I use firefox and IE7 depending on my mood.

Two windows, each with up to 5 or six tabs..
One window for browsing,
One for PMs and Admin stuff.
I often need to go back and forth to cut and paste etc.. , so separate windows helps here.

so between 10 and 12 tabs total.

It's not a problem yet but I am fast becoming a "tabaholic"! ;)

^^^^ Wow - I'd get totally lost with all that stuff on my screen. My idea of multitasking is drinking a coffee and readign a newspaper at roughly the same time...

Two windows on IE7 with at least six tabs each. Plus shortcuts to watching threads.

In firefox, 60-70. If firefox did not lag down my computer after so many tabs (I have 2gb of ram and dual core funnily enough, my friend said it's a FF glitch with too many tabs), I'd keep open even more maybe. What happens is I often find links of stuff I am monitoring or want to read later (but don't want to bookmark) so I keep it open in the tab.

Ohhh, I didn't read it thoroughly. How many POTN tabs? Rarely more than one. No need.

I usually have a couple, maybe up to 4 or 5.

I might have up to five or six tabs open at a time, but only one or two are for POTN.
