I am looking for somewhere that I can order proofs from. I would like smaller proofs than - like the 3.5x5's.

I thought I saw a place to order proofs from. They would just print one of each and put them in a nice proof box. I can't find anything though and that's kind of what I'm looking for to offer for some of my packages. For my basic package I'll just do online proofing, but for the higher up ones I would like to give a set of proofs so I need to find a place so I can get a price and work that into my cost.

Anyway your help would be appreciated.

Personally I don't like loose prints in a box. Theres all kinds of places to do them, Mpix or costco would be very reasonable.

Instead, if you like small prints, look into the together book, they bind the prints into a book, holds 100 so a couple books might be needed. This is the classier approach. The problem with this is it may cut into an album purchase.

Antoehr option is to do a contact sheet, say 12x12 with 9 images per page. Makes it VERY easy for ordering, and isn't a substitute for an album.

Online proofing is a great option too, so is ipod proofing.

I agree with Corey. Loose pics are not as attractive. I use all three mediums that he suggested:

1. Contact Sheets - Or what I do is have them printed into a book/album and just have them select it from there
2. Online Proofing (http://www.pictureproofs.com) with Picture Proofs - 5%
3. iPOD proofing - I make a Him/Her set and they can proof them while on a honeymoon or something to that effect.

Almost all of my stuff is done in the form of online proofs, It makes it easy for anyone, even the family that comes from far away to have access and ordering.

I have online proofing and 4x6 proofs in a proof album. The prints look much better than on a screen, and I lay it out nicely. I don't know where you're located, but WN Albums and Frames is where I currently get my proof albums, although I'm looking into other places.
