So, after a night of not really doing that much, my buddy and I decided to go to Wal-Mart to take advantage of their always bright lights. We got kicked out for having cameras (why? Anybody? Anybody?), so we headed over to Kroger, where they were stocking shelves. The people there were really nice and let us pretty much do whatever we want. Thank god for flourescent lights at 4 AM - I could have been sleeping (What a waste of time).

Very nice shots,

Maybe that is what I should do after getting up that early (just old habit of going to work this early)

Thanks. They tunred out really sharp (at least to me)

It really was a good time to go. Nobody gets in your way and there really are some interesting shots you can get. Things that other people would normally walk by. Here's another:

My guess would be corporate espionage. While you likely aren't a spy, from their perspective, they don't know who you are and would rather be safe than sorry. Certain corporations are very protective of their image and related matters, so they protect against pictures of the inside of their stores that could be used by others (K-Mart, if they still exist) to better make sales by mimicking their profitable displays.

Though it was something along those lines. But obviously, were college students in Wal-Mart at 3:45 AM. I guess they still couldn't tell our intentions. With Wal-Mart always being in hot water, I guess they were valid. Maybe I'll try and go during the day. You see teenage girls taking snapshots all the time. Now, if I had a press pass....
