View Full Version : High Key Seascape...

I know it's a little over exposed on the right hand side, but for some reason I keep coming back to this image... it's my Father-in-law on a cliff at sunrise, so I don't think it's a romantic attachment!! :-)
Again, any comments or critique greatly appreciated...

Very nice, Stuart! It's a great silhouette of "man against nature". I don't think I'd change a thing.

I know I'm not good enough to give a critique - but I really like it :)

I wouldn't say that - you've got some mighty nice shots in that pbase gallery... looks like you're somewhere in S.E. Qld - I lived up there (All over the Gold Coast, Esk, etc) for the past 20 years before coming down here to Adelaide 3 years ago... where abouts are you?? I've just come back from a weeks photo expedition (with a fair bit of fishing to boot) at Stradbroke Island... wonderful country for photography out there...

You are really producing .. aren't you !
This is a nice true shot. T
he colors are very monochromatic. It is not clear to me what might lift it. I would say that to better this (and I might lose the fog/cloud bank), I would probably wait till dawn, then I'd try to cut the amount of water ... or pray for a shrimp boat to pass .. or your father-in-law to start casting for blues.
