Whoa! Is this about detail? And composition wrapped tighter than a new CD? Here color would have only over-complicated an astonishingly complex study in line and texture. In a way, even with all the hints you've given me, I don't know where to look. And yet - it doesn't bother me much in this crazy quilt of design and tone. It's terrific.
