Went to Mt. Trashmore, a local park in Virginia Beach, VA and took pictures at sunset. While everyone was waiting for the lunar eclipse, I took advantage of the beautiful sky. It is great to see families that spend time together. Well, here are the results. As always, tell me what you think....

#5 is the cat's meow! Great color, great composition and an even better subject.

I agree, number 5 is awesome. Nice colors and silhouettes in all, though. Thanks for sharing.

wow, these are great. I think the fourth really jumps out. it sure kept me looking!

Thanks everyone for the comments. Looking at some of the pictures, does anyone think that the slopes of the hills are distracting or would be better off straightened. Of course, I could straighten them, but the people would be slanted. I was hoping the slants would add a sense of environment.

So, straighten/flatten the slopes next time or keep them slanted?

That was a nice sunset - pretty rare for Virginia Beach. Nice job!

Love em! Trashmore is a great place for shots! Always nice to see VB people on here. Keep on posting - i love seeing places i know! :)

I think so....haven't paid close attention. It isn't like I drive by it on the interstate everyday :rolleyes:

Yup, it is still there. Except vandals burnt down part of it. But it is or has been rebuilt.
