Just got off the phone with B&H.
I don't know what happened, but somewere between Hello and goodbye, I managed to run up quite a tab.
I must be an L-caholic.
Yes, yes I am.

Hello, my name is Daniel and I am an L-caholic.
It's been 4 hours since my last L purchase.

Ever had a lapse in your sanity?

.....for me the question is more like, "When was the last time you relapsed from your insanity? " :P

SO,. whatcha' get?

What is sanity? It is hard to loose that which you never had. I speak for myself and fell free to add!

Early in life, I fell out of the insanity tree ....

and hit every branch on the way down. :)

I think that sanity is over-rated. Same thing with reality. They're both completely unnecessary in life.

L, on the other hand, I can't live without.

And prime lenses!
Just ordered another, 85mm f1.8.
BTW, why do american companies like B&H and Adorama need photo id to verify your address instead of just calling and verifying with the cc comany? That's the only annoying thing I find ordereing from the states.
Here in the great white north, companies just call and verify with the cc company, which is much more convenient, and secure.

I bought a 1Ds and ordered a 1d Mk II in the same month..... you think there might be a 12 step program for this condition .....

Scott

"Got the 1Ds.....waiting for the rest of the bank account to get drained.... I want my Mk II"

C'mon! You will never use both.
Send the 1DS my way!

Hey, no fighting! You kids are going to have to learn how to behave.

OK, a compromise - send the 1Ds to Drisley and the 1D Mk II to me. I'll send you either a 28-105 zoom or a 24-85 zoom in return. Haven't decided yet. :)

Since Canada (the poor cousin) will probably only have an alotment of 2 MKII's, Scott should send his to me as a gesture of National Friendship

Go out your front door, climb a tall tree, turn to face the North. Couple of thousand miles that away is Canada, home of really good beer, hockey and goofy ducks.

LOL! And, the occasional teleconverter! :)

I guess I remember it - Canada's the home of LaBatt's Blue. A particularly clean-tasting beer. I may have brought a case or two over the border at one time or another. :)

But back to important things - CDS's near-term experiences with 45-point autofocus systems. Inquiring minds want to know.....

To properly understand Canada and Canadians, you must see "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut", the 1999 movie in which the Canadians are deemed responsible for the terrible decline in morality of American children.

This, of course, is something I fervently believe; accordingly, my favorite song from the soundtrack is 'Blame Canada'.

I still can't believe this film didn't win an Oscar for best animated drama and/or Most original use of profanity by minor children.

Shouldn't that be a 12 STOP program?
