Ive built my own. It works great in a test enviroment, but still waiting for an actual live test.

Hey Tom... I'm also looking to build my own and found this device... except I'm going to build it in an old flash unit that will mount right on top of my 10D on the shoe... might work??

The one I built is plug and play! All store bought components with one wire connection made, going from a female mono plug to male stereo plug. Total of 8 parts making the complete unit. Once I know for sure its working during an actual storm Ill post some images. I took alot of time to figure this out and want to be sure it flawless before I go saying its the best thing since sliced bread.
