Hi, welcome to the Forum! This is mainly a Canon site, but as far as I know, everyone is welcome who follows the rules. There is no rule that you must own a Canon or anything like that. Have fun, post away. Tell Lord-Malone hello.... (private joke was he got kicked off a Nikon Forum recently because he didn't own a Nikon.)

Beware that I think most folks here call the Nikon a Noink, or N, whatever, it is a friendly rivalry with most, not serious.

Oh yeah, check out the MarketPlace. There is plenty of Canon equipment available there ;-)

I still use my old Nikon F100 and get away with it :-) - I do own a couple of Canon bodies though...

Like, with a gun if I say that I use a Nikon camera? I signed up to view attached images, but I want to show off my pictures and get some C&C on them. I realize this is a Canon forum, but the "Show Your Pics" forums don't seem to be about Canon gear, just pictures. Just wondering if it's ok or not. Thanks

Sure, the forum may be bias... But generally we're a pleasant group who just refuses to spell-out the inferior camera brand which is Noink :lol: :lol:

My heart really wasn't in a move back to Cockney-land and that was reinforced by house hunting there for a while, but I am in process of moving to St Albans at the moment. I have a place there now and am packing this week ready to go. Brummie's loss is St Albans gain ;-) Only 22 minutes on the train to London so best of both worlds I reckon.

must be difficult finding a suitable place

best of luck with packing and the move. I guess it will be bitter sweet in some ways
hope it all works out and you enjoy living in St.Albans immensely
