I have just got the CompuDayPack. I am assuming you are looking at the Lowepro one. I have a 350D, 17-55 F2.8, 10.22, 70-300 IS and a 50 F1.8. They all fit in the lower camera section and I also have a 14" laptop in the computer section in the back. It has a top section that I use for the hoods, filters, power pack for computer, etc. Very compact.

I can fit all the equipment listed below in the camera section, but very tightly.
my 17" dv9000 hp laptop is veeeery compressed.
the personal items compartment is good.
Before buying, you must have in mind that is a photo gear+others+ laptop and that there is no such thing as the perfect bag.
I have been looking an stealth , versatile and REALLY airplane friendly bag for a long time, and this is the best combination by far, IMHO. Bags are about priorities and I prefer compromising the camera compartment and mantaining an "school backpack size" and be sure is going to be ok in ANY plane because I use it for hand luggage and one or two day trips and I have a different bag for home storage and another one for shooting. For example, I am going to NY on friday, and I will compress all my equipment in the backpack togheter with the laptop and one or two books, wallet, rings, valuables, a jumper, duty free buys, etc, but I will put an empty slingshot 100 in the big suitcase.
In a nutshell, it is my favourite bag but consider what is the use you are going to give it, because it is not certainly an "all you have got" bag and you are planning to get more equipment.
