How to format text area?

When I look at Pekka's or Guillermo's "workflow" descriptions, they are very professional formatted. I typed the text in the adequat text field in the admin section, but checking it in EE it is just plain text info. So, how do I a first-line indent guide or anything else to make it look better? Thanks in advance for your help. :roll:

If you tick OFF "activate links" and "line breaks to BR" you can enter the text with html tags. Use only text tags, which means line breaks, lists, blockquotes links etc.

Do NOT add any body head or title tags. They are provided by EE.
