I've been shooting with my rebel xt since december and I love everything about it. I've been using my kit lens until today!!! which i finally got my 50mm f1/1.8 lens in the mail. I've always been passionate about art through sculpting, painting, graphics design and now photography. I'm a long time reader here and i would like to hear some feedback from everyone. Any suggestions and comments are welcome, and I'm here to learn :D

They are all very nice :)
Perhaps #2 could have done with some sort of lighting on the couple.
I could go for some of #1 right now too, mmmmm. Where are they taken?

#1 is actually at a local french restaraunt in houston. its a picture of escargo drizzled over a light and fluffy bread.

all the rest of the photos were taken in maui. i was there for a wedding.

#1 looks quite delicious and almost menu-esque # 2 would be sensational with a straight horizon, it throws me off a little #3 Not sure what you're trying to achieve? Isit a pre-wedding reception gathering? I do like the B&W effect on the long shadows #4 looks like a good idea, i'd try it from a bit more of an angle to capture more of the background table settings maybe? #5 I like, looks like a line-up of things to come hehe #6 looks like a classic sunset on a great day, if anything i'd use the slowest shutter i could in that one to smooth the water. I like your style, you look for the different angle on things, keep it up!
