Hoya and kenko, along with all of their other associated branch brands all use the same glass.

So if you buy that filter, your getting the same thing as the Hoya at probably a cheaper price?

I've seen it stated many times that these are exactly the same product, although I guess it's hard to be sure.

I'll have to check the price difference later, but I'd guess the Kenko's are significantly cheaper. I'm curious myself if they are truly the same products, i.e. manufactered same factory, under same conditions, with no differences in quality control, and overall have the same quality product.
