Hello,
I am back with the same subject. So now I am happy owner of the 300D (althought I still like my film EOS 300).
Problem: I was shooting daytime in comparatively well-lit cathedral, used 420 EX flash and Program mode. I was NOT bouncing (ceilings are high). Pictures got very dark, I was only 2, max 3 meters away from the subject; I can see clear shadows from the straight flash light, so there must be a lot of light coming. Also I am almost sure with the film EOS 300 there would not be a problem. Is that something to do with FEC on digital rebel, I heard that it only work with 520 EX, is that right? Should I use exposure adjustment each time?
End what would you think about s/w on FEC:

Thanks a lot,
