I saw this add in a digital photo magazine and it made me laugh.

Do you really suppose that he used the flash and got that good an image :?

You'll notice there is another guy lower left that is just having his flash firing.

And do you really think he used that lens (it looks like the kit lens) and could isolate three players? I don't see the zoom box displayed so he isn't zooming in playback mode.

Marketing people make me laugh.

Most people don't realize that even a good internal flash has a GN of 10-15M. The 10D's internal flash is rated at 13M or 43 feet at iso 100. Why do you think so many flashes go off at stadium events? They look good on TV but do absoloutely nothing for the picture taken by the camera.

You mean you guys haven't heard of the new SuperDuper DOJO lens that does super telephoto in a 3" length lens body? How about the BetterBeamer technology that's incorporated into the built-in flash to give you super range with the flash? They come with the new 300D MK II kit!

Oh, yes. Isn't that the lens that moves your seat to the front row as you turn the zoom ring?

I heard about this - this is the secret part of Canon's E-TTL for all the digital cameras - all the cameras in the stadium 'talk' to one another, and when the great photo moment happens, all of the cameras synch up and produce a shutter lag so that they all fire together! The combination of all flashes together gives everybody with a Canon a decent shot! :P :) :D

Not to mention you can't frame the shot in the LCD of a DSLR anyway.
Not sure what that is supposed to be, except CHIMPing

I hate this kind of misleading ad. What if I use this same settings for soccer game? I will be very disappointed.
