I'm trying to get a good feel of what a good circular polarizer might do for some of my photo taking in the future. so I thought it might be a good idea to start an ARCHIVE of all photos taken with one on the camera! also, if you could include the maker of your filter, that'd be great!
thanks guys!

no one else has any pictures taken with a circular polarizer? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it, I'd love to see y'all's work!

Here's one of mine. No PS, straight out of the camera. I am not sure of the brand, bought it at a local camera shop for $20.

*Whew* All wonderful shots! I honestly never used a polarizer before and I never looked into it  , but I can see now what difference this can make!!!
Can a polarizer be used as a universal lens protector (instead of a UV filter)? Are you guys taking the CP off for indoor shootings?

CPs also reduce light by two full stops. Not a good candidate for front element protection 24/7.
Your hood is literally the best lens protection you've got. UV filters are good until you worry about glare. Multi coated is best.

Im ordering a my first polarizer!!!! i decided to go with the Hoya Multicoated (after MUCH reading from all the members here saying multicoated is the only way to go) getting it from B&H....its $64.50....would have gone with the B+W, but its sold out! :(
