Newbie on pro1

:?: I spoke with "Ritz Cameras" at their online number in regards to ordering their in stock canon powershot pro1 for $999.They also offer free shipping and handling [over $100] with no sales tax anywhere in the world.When speaking to the rep he seemed bored and not really helpful.My inquiry was to confirm their policies when ordering.After the curt responses I told him I would get back to him.
My question is, has anybody dealt with this company before. Maybe I just got a disinterested rep, which can happen.Also considering buying from a retail Wolf [Ritz]dealer which offers free classes in leau of the sales tax which I will weigh.
This is my first post and am glad to be part of a very informative forum.

The most respected online camera shop with really good prices in the US is probably B&H Photo Video (www.bhphotovideo.com). I believe they will have much better prices than Ritz Camera on most items (same price on the Pro1 since it is a new product) and have good service and knowledgeble staff.

You should check them out. I have bought lots of stuff from them with no complaints.

Their online store RitzCamera.com http://www.ritzcamera.com has a fairly good rating according to http://www.resellerratings.com but personally I would buy it from B&H based my previous experiences with them (yes, I'd pay the extra for shipping). Good luck.
