Hi all,

My first bug macro. This spider was teeny. Approx twice the size of a money spider. Sorry no ID's. I'm new to all these bugs and arachnids

Caught this critter on my kitchen wall. It was playing dead and relatively still, although it was directly above a door and was so hard to lock onto it, esp as I have bad hands (arthritis.) Hand held shot.

Nice comp Lisa! If I had to make a guess, it looks like a little boy wolfie to me.

Wow, that's a great shot, especially for the angle. I like!

Good shot Lisa, like the angle/composition. Not sure on the ID, but it is a boy! Congrats on the first spider!

Thanks for the comments everyone :) I don't have anymore unfortunately.

I currently don't have any internet at the moment. I cancelled my broadband to change suppliers and inbetween that right now with sucky dial up. Took forever to load this page so I won't be around for a short while.

Again, thanks for the nice comments.

P.S. How can you tell it's a boy?

The size of the end of it's palps. They're more rounded and larger, used by the male spiders to pad its semen onto them and pass to the female during mating.
