I appologize if this has been covered before, but here goes. I know on my PowerShot G2 I could use either a linear or circular polarizing filter and get equally good results. Is the same true of the 300D, or should I stick with a circular polarizer?

With the mirror in a (D)SLR, consistent AF and correct exposure metering requires the use of a circular polarizer.

Thank you Ken! I'm sure with all the lookers and you being the only one to reply, there's probably others who will benefit from your knowledge.
