I am going to pick up a 430EX from BH, is there any reason not to get the imported version? Its 5.00 cheaper and still have a 1year waranty, same a US model. BH seems to be the cheapest place. Let me know if you have another suggestion. Thanks

i think that the warr for a imported flash is only warr overseas. meaning you can't send it to canon USA

Quoted from b&H:

"If you should experience a problem with a product sold with a USA warranty, it can be sent to any of the manufacturer’s worldwide authorized service facilities for servicing. A "direct import" or grey market item would have to be returned to B&H Photo-Video if it required in-warranty attention."

I have 3 EX flashes. All bought from B&H as 'Import'. Why spend even a penny more than really needed? If one buys an import version fron a certified Canon dealer (B&H, Adorama, Dell, et) and provides a sales receipt, Canon's USA service centers will repair as a USA version. Nikon will not do this, but Canon will.
