Hi all, I'm new to the forums and after a good read and a wonder around I thought I would join up.
Being rather new into photography myself and recently upgrading to d-SLR I am very much still in learning mode!
Well lets get onto what its all about, photos....I've got a couple of shots of some swans I took while out today wondering around a riverside town today.
C+C most welcome :D

Both are very nice! You should save the EXIF data with the pics - helps other newbies like me learn more...

Nice shots Stu, welcome to the forum. If you had framed your first shot with the whole reflection it would have been a fantastic capture as it looks like you would have a good clear reflection. Well done.:D

Welcome Stu
Nice captures of a beautiful bird.
Also like Bromm said it would've been nice to see a reflection shot also.
Camera and lens info would be good.

When I have processed the RAW file and export it to 16 Bit TIFF there is no option to keep the exif info, it automatically removes it, this is with the software supplied with Canon's.
The only way I can keep the exif is if I export as a JPEG or an 8 Bit TIFF which to me are both sub-standard compaired to the 16 Bit TIFF.
Any ideas or workarounds for this are most welcome.
Thanks

I do believe that you don't need much help from us. You have a great eye for composition and your skills for exposure and focus are shown nicely in your captures. Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing.
