What happens when you attach an 0.6 wide lens directly in front of a .5 wide lens ?
Anyone tried ? does it widen your shot or is a futile measure.

You would be more likely to get an answer in the point-n-shoot forums, in my opinion.

Can you point me at the P&S forum ? I don't seem able to find it, or see it.
thanks.

You generally won't be able to since they each have a specific rear thread diameter and that's smaller than the front diameter. Even if you could, the image quality would be abysmal, since using only a single wide adapter will show distortion at the corners. Using two stacked would magnify this.

That's what I was thinking, but then I just figured the thread had been moved here from somewhere else or something ??

Yeah it was moved, my bad, when I saw the forum description of "Everything about accessories for Canon digital" I just clicked it - the EOS bit didn't register much since I wasn't speaking about EOS or pro DSLR gear at all, I figure even EOS users would probably be using the same filter-thread based addons.
Still, I know now.
Reason I asked is I have a wide lens at .5 and have seen in the local rag, a .6 which fits the .5's filterside thread. I was hoping for a much wider field spread. Still, don't find out unless you ask :) - and I have plenty more questions as I gather my gear.
Thanks chaps.
