Can anybody tell me where I can find a 52 to 52mm reversing ring?I have a G5 with lensmate 52 converter and just purchased a 50mm Canon FD 1:4 lens which I am anxious to try reversing for some macro shots.I checked B&H,Adorama,E-Bay..but can't seem to find what I need,,anybody know where I can locate one?Thanx

Hi mrkb,

I think what you mean is G5 + reversed standard lens for supermacro.

They are much cheaper than B&H. In fact I even order from them though I live in Hong Kong!!

Is the filter thread on canon FD 50mm/1.4 of 52mm? They have so many sizes and you are not bound to using only 52mm. I am doing the same thing with pentax super-takumar 50/1.4 lens and got a 49mm reversing ring to go with. :D

I read somewhere you can glue two filters together, I haven't tried it but I guess it would work if you were stuck? Or have I got this wrong? :?

I glued a Cokin filter holder ring (not sure that is the technical term) to an old lenshood ring and that worked nicely.
