I found this on a website. It's a nice little interactive guide. It's really good for those who are surfing this forum (like I was about 2 weeks ago) and don't have Digital Rebel yet...Enjoy you're getting one step closer to a real one...:D ;)

Whoever put this site together didn't know much about the Digital Rebel.
For instance, in the white balance section, they claim that the DR has an external white balance sensor -- that's news to me.
Also, when they describe setting Custom White balance, they say that the target should cover the 'spot metering' circle. Again, the DR doesn't have spot metering (something that IMO, should have been included), much less have a 'spot metering circle' in their viewfinder. There is a partial metering circle, but not spot. Pretty cavalier of them, I'd say.
Next thing you know, customers that buy a DR will actually be expecting to find the things that their web site claims their camera can do...

In the sample viewfinder image on the High-Speed 7-Point AF page, they show horizontal and vertical gridlines.
It would be nice if they actually had these, as it makes it a lot easier to line up architectural/structural subjects so that they don't look funny.
Maybe we can have a 'spot the gaff' contest, and see how many stupid mistakes this particular presentation makes...
