I took this picture a few months back on a trip to Bodie. To be honest it is a pretty stock picture of the area. Nonetheless I like it.

I thought, hmmmm......what would this look like in black and white. I did crop it just a tad to bring the horizon up. I am thinking I like it better in color so your C&C is appreciated.

My normal image hoster (smugmug) is down for maintenance so I am hosting this on another site.

I love this type of photography. Lately I have been driving in an area of many old barns, with missing boards and old tractors, and sort of been wanting to take similar shots.

I like how your foreground corresponds to the rest of the photo, maybe I would have stepped back just a bit (to include fender on the right side of the frame, but that is just me (I think the photo's background or environment often helps tell the story, or make the point). I also like the color gamut, the blue sky and rusty oranges are a good combo.

So I agree. I am guessing this is not a Times Magazine Shot, but I like it, nontheless.

Thanks for sharing.

I actually cropped the photo (original) with the fender just at the corner. The original has the full fender in it. I wanted the curve of the fender to lead into the picture more. You are right though, it is no time magazine photo :D. Thank you for your input.
