s2 repair

just got a letter from the repair centre(camera requires a new lens unit.calibrate and test) total £129.39:(
a new s3 only costs £140.00 more

That is a tough decision but since there is not that much difference in the S2 and S3 I would probably save the extra and have the S2 repaired.

With the price of new ones being so low these days, I believe I would replace it. But that's just my opinion.

A new S3 for twice as much would only be warrantied for a year. So that's a wash; you could get the same repair every six months and come out slightly ahead. I'd say go for the repair.
