Something different for a change: Poetry.

Gjunler Abdula recited "Bizoagor" and was backed by the band Parne Gadje (http://www.smokedrecordings.com/html/parnegadje.html).

More about the project here (http://www.smokedrecordings.com/html/projects.html).

Equipment as usual: 1D2 and 20 to 200mm. I think one or two images posted were shot with a 70-200 L IS instead of my usual 80-200L on monopod. I swaped lenses for a while with an other photographer and was able to prove IS doesn't make up for sloppy technique...

Crud, even I would sound good reading poetry in that environment! Nice captures, Rene ... good timing, color, variety, composition ... not much to suggest.

Good stuff. There's more energy here than a couple of the music performances I've shot. :D Great job capturing it.
