Hello, here is a pic I took the other day. I was trying to capture the mood of the sunset in winter, along with the great view. I think it came pretty nice, what does everyone else think?

I think it needs a little levels and curves adjustment as it's looking a little flat to me. Apart from that fine.

Wow! What a difference! I didnt realize you could make them look so good with Photoshop! Goes to show how new I am with this lol! I've impressed myself, and I thought the original image looked good! Thanks for the advice!

its a mood shot but rather bland.
When looking at it my eyes wander over it looking for something of interest because there isnt anything that grabs my eyes.
When I see shots like that my thoughts are what was the photographer thinking about what does he/she want me to see?
In this case I read your post and say ah mood.

I think it would look good in black and white.

That is exactly what I was trying to capture, the blandness of a winter sunset. Thank you for the kind words!
