Can someone explain what criteria are used to designate some members as either a Junior Member, Member, Senior Member, Gold Member etc. etc.? Can't seem to find the rules in 'The Rules' or 'FAQs'. Thanks!

0-29 posts, 'Junior Member'
30-999 posts, Member
1,000-1,199 posts, 'Senior Member'
2,000-4,999 posts, 'Gold Member'
5,000 posts, 'Cream of the Crop'

Some of the more 'creative' titles have been dubbed by the 'Title Fairy.' We don't know who he/she is, but he/she is known to work in strange ways.

I think the glue is talking through me :-)

And that too in 'an obvious pointless' way

Just go to one of the infamous chat threads and you'll be cream of the crop in no time. You don't even need to post any pictures

According to these calculations my post count is somewhere in the twilight zone.

Sorry. It's really slow at the store right now. :)

I like it when forums allow you to set these titles yourself..............makes things a little more fun.

I mean do I really want to be a "Senior Member".........sounds like I get a discount on value meals at McDonald's.

You'd better pray the "title fairy" doesn't hear you. You're just likely to end up with a custom title you didn't want, like "I get a discount on Value Meals at McDonalds". And if you do end up with that, t'warn't me.

You really got to watch out now. That's the gap where the title fairy strikes most often :)

Doesn't a warning imply that you are given a second chance? Otherwise its not really a warning correct?

My new title should be a conversation starter in threads - to say the least.....;)

I was going to head to McDonald's today at lunch; I need to take a screen shot of this thread and see if they will honor it.

Very funny thread.. I love reading those tags on the avatars... and enjoy the good sense of humor around here. The other day, I got a fortune inside a cookie at a Chinese restaurant which says "You are the crispy noodle in the vegetarian salad of life." Not sure if I am being complimented or insulted.. but my wish to the Title Fairy is to be retagged as the Crispy Noodle... my therapist says it is harmless. (He told me to get rid of the chain saw however).

It doesn't often work like that.. the Title Fairy is much too devious to simply give you what you ask for! :)
