Well, I have been unable to get one nostril above the waterline so I am simply going to post these out of camera and even though the gallery is created by LightRoom neither it nor I did any post processing except resize and sharpen and that was done totally by LightRoom. I know that several really need cropping and a few other touches. I will try to do better with Styx and Wynonna (both of whom are sitting my pipeline) as I get used to LightRoom.

#1 We are all aging ...

Nice shots. They are a bit older than I remembered, lol. I saw them several times in Germany in the early 70's. A wonderful experience. Too bad good music like that isn't all that common any more. One listens to them, and then to rap, what a difference in music...... never mine, I'll just say groupls like the Moody Blues actually do play music.

Thanks for posting, they were might first concert I went too at the Gorge.

Great shots, though they are definitely getting up there in age. Was it a disappointment to see them without a full symphony?

They are not very dynamic on stage and their music lacks the power it had 30 years ago, but they are great tunes that even I remember! :-) Yes, Rap and HipHop ... I could do without both ... and do at the casino.

They make quite a bit of sound without symphony ... I shot them a couple of years ago so sort of knew what to expect.

Very nice Dwight, expecially for no PP. I saw #1 and realized there are times not to use a 300mm+ zoom. :D (I'm assuming, no exif thanks to LR) Any shots fo the flute player not quite so straight on (less mic)? I also like #6 with the screen in the BG.

Yes, no option in LR to keep EXIF/IPTC in tact with a web gallery in this version. There are other shots of the flutist in the gallery.

I'd overlooked the link to the gallery, thanks. I think I like some of those other angles better. Is that her on guitar too? Nice variety of shots.

Yes, she is very versatile although I remember her much better "finished" at the show two years ago.

Does that mean "Stuck Up!" ;)

Usually, if you want an orchestra to back you up, you gotta look and sometimes even behave like they do...

I like #1,2 and 5.
Some could use a cropping indeed ;)

Thanks, Rene. I am so busy! I shot Wynonna Friday night and a VIP event with the Crew Cuts last night. I am sitting here in my home office looking out the window at the Sunday League soccer players [mostly Latin] across the street and I expect I will take the 400mm f/2.8 on a monopod to go over and play for an hour later.

Anyway, I am trying to use LR to replace other workflow elements, such as PhotoImpact, since it folds into RAW much better and handshakes with Photoshop and I am shooting some images RAW+L. Slowly but surely and easy does it. At least in the Styx thread I did do post processing although all just LR. I am likely to take another seminar or two this year concentrating on PS.
