I would say it's a good shot, although I don't really care for it. Looks sharp, focus is where it needs to be, great detail. What is it a gear from?

I have to agree with Eagle. Clean enough picture, but it needs to be "doing something". It's not quite a functional shot, and it's not quite an artistic shot. It is missing something to make it powerful. Currently, it's a shot of a cog, and I will probably forget about it by the morning.

That said, if you are looking to take a good clean shot of a gear, then you have done just that. :D
