I uploaded two photos into a gallery with the wrong orientation (they were landscape orientation and should have been portrait).
I fixed the files on my PC and tried to fix the problem in the Photo Editor with the "Upload (and replace with) file ..." option. This corrected the orientation with the large sized image, but not the thumb or microthumb.
So it appears that the upload and replace option does not freshen the thumb and microthumb. Perhaps this should be an option.
With this not working, I tried deleting the files using "Delete selected files from EE" in the Copy Move Delete page. I uploaded my corrected images onto the server and uploaded them into EE. Again, the large image imported okay, but the thumb and microthumb were still rotated.
Hmmm. I figured I must of made a mistake. I repeated the prior steps with the same result.
Finally I deleted the files from EE again, then changed the names of the files I wanted to upload, and this did work.
