Was hoping someone would give a recommendation for the best P&S camera for a friend of mine who in the market.
I own the 5D and have not been in the market for a P&S for sometime.
He has considered the 700 IS. I also noticed that there is an 800, 900 and a new 1000 available.
Am I correct that the 900 and 1000 do not have the IS feature?
Does anyone have experience with these models that would recommend one over the other? Or perhaps a different route all together? What about the Pro series?
He wants something somewhat small that is easy to take along.
My biggest concern is IQ. But I'm at a loss as to what to recommend.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
