#1 - I don't like the composition much in this one. I think it should be shot with a clear subject in mind, or recropped.

#2 - Looks a little hazy. I think I might like this one in color better. The b/w conversion (assumption) seems to be a little too contrasty, especially in the foreground.

#3 - Great shot. I like all of the different shades of green, the yellow-green grass creates some foreground interest. Those trees next to the stream are just cool looking. Nice shot, it's my favorite of the 3.

1: lots of neat things in the image and nice but would have been better to seperate it into seperate shots for each element.

2: higher number f-stop for a wider fov would have been better.

3: same thing except to get better color seperation.

I like #2 very much. It would be better without the extraneous branch coming into the frame in the upper right side. The composition is otherwise quite good. The tonal range is very pleasing and the higher contrast on the person draws your attention to him.

Very good attention getter with very nice, interesting background.

Congratulations!

I'll start with #2 as it helps illustrate points in 1 and 3.

#2 Great shot! Great contrast, nice use of B&W, great composition. This picture communicates something to the viewer, a story if you will. A lone man marvels at the majesty and massiveness of his environment. Great job.

#1 Lacks that story or clear intent. Very cluttered with too much detail and lacks any focal point.

#3 No story or intent here either. The shot is very uniformly green with little contrast or focal point.

Number 2 is quite a shot though. Wider angle maybe, but really pretty solid.

I think they're ok, #1 looks to be leaning to the left and could do with straighting, #2 is good and #3 I find ok. I think #1&3 would be more interesting if snapped at a lower angle but I know this is not always possible.
