I took this a couple of days ago I have been waiting for days for this flower to open I could of kicked myself later for not checking my ISO before hand. Please tell me what you think.

I really like the vibrant colors but the middle of the flower looks soft; it might be due to the close distance of the subject. I'm assuming you weren't using a macro lens.

Did you PP this shot? It's colors are so... different! I like it, and then I get confused by the color. It's got a red glow on the edges in places...

It looks like it would be a good "art" piece, especially if the center were a bit sharper as kster mentioned.

Yes I was using a macro my husband just bourght me one for my birthday its a sigma EX 105mm so im still learning its ins and outs. more pratice needed:lol:

Thanks for the comment. No I didnt do ant post processing just converted it straight from raw to jepg. I know what you mean about the colours tho, thats what attracted me to the flower in the first place I never seen one like it.:D
