I've been considering getting one for a few months, but hate to buy it then find out I don't like it. I would like to carry my 350D, flash, and at least two lenses and hoods. In the next couple of months, I hope to have the Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS. Will this lens fit, preferably while attached to the camera?
Also, would a small Sony video camera fit in the top portion if I didn't have
a lap top?
I seem to remember reading somewhere that the big complaint about this
back pack is that the straps are wide apart and there is no chest strap.
Any comments on this bag would be appreciated.

I have this backpack and am actually selling it for a reasonable price, if your considering it. It's practically brand new, but I found I don't use it as much as I thought.
As far as what it can hold, it's a good size backpack. The compartment for the laptop is pretty big and will hold a 15.4" laptop easily. The Second compartment in the front will hold a lot of accesories and is even enough room for a flash or lens. The bottom compartment will easily hold your 350D, and two lenes. The 70-200 will definilty not fit, when attached to the camera, but could be stored in the upper compartment no problem. I have a 10D with 28-135 attached, that that's about the max that will fit in there attached. It doens't have a chest strap, but the straps are very comfortable, even when the bag is loaded. You can actually see the setup at cambags.com. Let me know if your intrested.

I really like it, but it you plan to have your 70-200 attached to your camera most of the time, this is not your bag...
