Is the tree in the center of the pic a good composition element or a bad one ?

I like it. I think the "center" of this photo is on the fisherman, even he is not standing at the geometrical center of the frame.

It's a good element for the tree shot & leads me up to the top left corner, if that's what you were shooting. But if it's about the fisherman and the swan it leaves me wondering what's behind it. I like th pic very much, the curves and lines all flow :wink:
