Yesterday, I was reading a photo magazine from last summer and came across a small (favourable) review for something called a "speckgrabber".
It's a tacky device used for grabbing dust from mirrors, sensors or any part of the camera.
Does anybody have any experience with one of these?

I read some where that it grabs dust and stuff by using static electricity. Thou tough gunky dirt/dust would still be hard to remove. Also care of to be taken when using it so as not to scratch your sensor, mirror, focus screen etc.
So far for my sensor I only use non-contact method, i.e. using my Giotto Rocket, giving it a quick 5 squeezes right onto the sensor, here is the before and after shoot.

As you can see, it removed those big ugly ones but there are still tiny ones on my sensor, but I think I can live with those, they are not showing up on any of my photos yet, fingers-Xed.
Once it get worst, I will have to resort to Mr.Copperhill's method of using a PecPad and Eclipse fluid.

I have the Speckgrabber. Occasionally it is handy to pick up a piece of muck that is (a) visible on the sensor, and (b) a bit sticky so blowing doesn't shift it.
It doesn't always live up to its claim of leaving no marks, so you can't rely on the Speckgrabber alone.
It's a wicked price for what you actually get, but I feel more comfortable using it to pick off a large lump of gunk before polishing with PecPads and Eclipse solution.
