I need to know how to edit (rotate the movie) a movie from my camera, anyone got any suggestions?

Maybe someone else has found a tool to do this but I have not. I learned right away to only shoot video from the camera in the horizontal format. Even though the shot would have looked better in the vertical format. To bad the camera doesn't rotate the video automatically like it can a picture.

You can do it in ZoomBrowser, or a program such as Apple QuickTime Pro.
In the ZoomBrowser Task area:
Edit > Edit Movie > Rotate

One of the first videos I took I was trying to be artistic and rotated the camera whilst shooting. Then when playing it back I realised what a stupid idea that was. Not only would I have to figure out how to rotate the video, I'd have to rotate some of it but not all of it. I quickly consigned that particular file to the lessons learned pile :)

Zoombrowser does it and so do a whole bunch of other pieces of software. I rely on Microsoft Movie Maker which is free and comes with Windows. Its fairly straight forward and I've had to use it often since my wife seems to like taking videos in portrait mode.

AC/Dc will allow you to rotate your movies
