Most of my photos are cycling related as it's my other passion. In that regard, they are almost always quick photos where I jump off my bike and try to capture a moment. Not always having time to really compose.

nice shot. looking at those rocks I hope you've got a full suspension bike.

You could push the saturation/contrast up a bit to give it a bit more punch.

BTW here's one of my biking pics

THis is a critique corner.

I too love MTB but confine myself to meadows as I do not have $2000 for an FS bike and last time I hit the trails my wrists revolted . I do however ride a 1/2 mile trail littered with similal rocks.

That said, there is not enough mood in this shot -- the thrill does not come through. Maybe that suggests more zoom, and a rider coming at us or a better placement of the rider w.r.t. the light and shadows.

I hope that that does not sound tough. Rough as the rocks appear, the image is too soft on the viewer -- although my wrists are beginning to ache. )

More air please.

Doesn't sound to tough. I can take it. I actually thought people might ask to crop the tree out on the right.

As for more air, I suspect you are looking for more jump type photos, something I think is photographed far too often IMO.

thanks for the feedback,
