This page has an interresting story to it. This equation is part of a material strain correlation equation that I've been working on calculating. The equation itself is almost 30 years old but it changes based on the input parameters. This is part of a 160 page report that with plenty of numbers that I had to put together so it did create plenty of headaches for me.

Just a quick note to say that the challenge is closed. Got extremely busy at work that I completely forgot so my apologies for that. Result will come with a few comments shortly....

Ok. Once again, sorry for keeping you all waiting. Here are the results:
1st place - boomer3297 for It's All i the Numbers - Great looking photo! I could imagine this in a newspaper or magazine article about March Madness. Nice use of the pencil as a complement to the bracket info and great decision of using black and white!
2nd Place - Abyss for Number Number on the wall - Great thinking and effort(?) in arranging those numbers on the wall. Good looking colors and I like the use of limited depth of field for artistic purposes.
3rd place - Forumulated One for Eight Thirty Three - Welcome back to the contests. Liked this photo very much and was the only street photo that was entered in the challenge. Liked the choice of time of day to take the photo so lighting was nice. I'm guessing you did some PP with blurring the background, which actually made it look like a train set or model picture. :)
A big thank you for the rest who entered. I wish I had the time to enter a comment for each photo but it's just been crazy working in a job that is greatly affected by the recent weather (northeast snowstorms). Congrats to all the winners and I'm looking forward for the next challenge!

Dyle,
Thanks for the recognition! I had several ideas for this contest and thought this was this was the most appropriate. I also liked Formulated One's entry. I have been to Camden Yards, it has many photographic opportunities.
All entries had something to offer and I continue to learn from all your photo's.
Thanks again and I will post the next contest shortly

Thanks for the 2nd place :D Special thanks to my two little daughters who helped me to arrange those numbers on a piece of paper. I just snapped and rotate it by 90 degree... nothing to do with the wall :p
Personally, I like 'Numbers of Time' by Edd S. It looks lovely.
