I was wondering if anyone who has a TC58N lens could tell me if I could place the filter in between adapter and the lens if I would get the same result if the Canon lens were to have the threads on the front of the lens?

Im Considering buying the TC-DC58N , for my G3.
And would like to still have the use of Infrared filter etc...

Or If anyone has tried this , and could let me know
Thank you
Pamela

I tried it with the TC-DC58N, the Lensmate 58mm adapter, with an ND filter in between the two of them and it works fine. Suggestion, get the Lensmate 58mm aluminum adapter and not the Canon plastic one, it's too easy to misthread the filters on the plastic adapter. Hope that helps.

I didn't have any problems with it either. The advantage is you only need the 58mm filters and not a bigger one to screw on front of the lens, and the bigger ones are more expensive :) .

Oh Good , as long as I could use the filters, that isnt so bad, I just have to be careful not to damage front of lens

Thank you for the helpful info feedback!
