Hello,

Moved to Lunarpages (Linux-Apache), and then to a server with Exec (). Uploaded 1.5RC3

I have edited /gallery/add/connect.php and gallery/input/backup/ee_backup_prefs/preferences.php to 'localhost' 'mygalleryname' 'user' 'pw' where the user and pw are ones that I created on the MySQL control panel at lunarpages.

Did the CHMOD's

Have run /gallery/new_installers/full_15rc3.php - it ended happily.

Now when I open /gallery/input/index.php I get the login page. I enter the words I was told to and I am taken to /gallery/input/index.php with all it's wonderful choices. It has taken me a lot of time to get to that page - my excitement was palpable.

BUT, if I click on any of the menu items on the left I am dumped back out to the login page.

So I can't (as I can tell) edit the server info, or do any of the next steps as outlined in the /setup_upload_system.php document.

So close I can taste it - any help on what I'm doing wrong?

thanks,

Steve

Hello,

Thanks for the reply, but no luck. Every option on the index page dumps me back to the login page even with all cookies allowed.

When you get to editor, LOG OUT and then log in again.

Hello,

Yahoo!

I'm travelling for the weekend and so don't have anything to upload, but it looks like it's working.

Thanks, (until my next question)

Hello,

In the FTP Server Setup I get all greens except on the four upload lines

UPLOAD TEST IMAGE 'ee_test0.jpg':

which each give an error

FAILED Reason: readfile(ftp_test_files/ee_test0.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory

I'm pretty sure I've got the paths correct - it's just /public_html/gallery - and have tried the EE internal and PHP ftp module both with same result. No luck on the passive mode either.

I've noticed that many others on the board have a /home/ in front of their path and I tried this too - it gave the exact same results.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Steve

Oh, there is a folder missing from RC 3 full install pack. Download it from

http://photography-on-the.net/ee/beta/ftp_test_files.zip

It goes inside your input folder.
