Haha, I have deliberately disregarded your order and given explanations...
Tamron 17-50 or Tamron 28-75 ... not too convinced from the 28-75.
Bigma or Canon 200 f/2.8 ... hyperzoom or fast prime? I go for speed.
Sigma 200-500 f/2.8 or Canon 1200mm w/ 1.4x TC ... on my 20D, the 1200 might be a bit too long with the 1.6x crop:wink:
Canon 300 f/2.8 or Canon 500 f/4L IS ... f/2.8 I need, 500 less often
Canon 200 f/1.8L or Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS ... well, there is one thing that is better than f/2.8, and that is f/1.8
Canon 35L or Canon 50L ... my Sigma 30/1.4 EX is good enough...
Canon 24L or Sigma 20mm f/1.8 ... I go for speed ...
Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 or Canon 100-400L ... IS is for sissies ...
Canon TS-E 24L f/3.5 or Canon 24-70 f/2.8 ... MF ?... been there, done that, not for me...
Canon 85L or Canon 85 f/1.8 + Canon 50 f/1.4 (Together) ... 1.2 is just my dream
Best regards,
Andy

I'll only play if there is actually a good purpose to doing this other than having a giant list of peoples preferences. Without reasons why we choose what we do and since this is supposed to be "imaginary" and not about money anyway I am still quite lost as to what conclusions could possibly be drawn from this. So yeah, just kind of lost as to WHY, if you can help me with that I might join in.

No reason why. If you don't want to jump in, you don't have to. ;) Again, feel free to explain why you chose what you did.

Tamron 17-50 or Tamron 28-75
Hmm, tough. 28-75 just because I'm more of a long guy vs. a wide guy
Bigma or Canon 200 f/2.8
Bigma for versatility
Sigma 200-500 f/2.8 or Canon 1200mm w/ 1.4x TC
The 1200 of course! Just so you could say you own one.
Canon 300 f/2.8 or Canon 500 f/4L IS
3002.8
Canon 200 f/1.8L or Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS
2001.8 - Speed over IS
Canon 35L or Canon 50L
35L as it's just a better FL for me on my crop body
Canon 24L or Sigma 20mm f/1.8
Canon - Just cuz
Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 or Canon 100-400L
Sigma for sure right here due to speed, IQ, and versatility
Canon TS-E 24L f/3.5 or Canon 24-70 f/2.8
24-70 - not a TS sorta.
Canon 85L or Canon 85 f/1.8 + Canon 50 f/1.4 (Together)
85L!
Have fun shopping!

I thought you were out of money and sold the 24-70mm in favor of keeping the 35mm?

Ok, I'll play :)
Tamron 17-50 or Tamron 28-75 - well, I can always give it away, I guess :)
Bigma or Canon 200 f/2.8 - no Sigma for me, please...
Sigma 200-500 f/2.8 or Canon 1200mm w/ 1.4x TC - I'd sell it and buy all remaining L's plus a few bodies and other equipment :)
Canon 300 f/2.8 or Canon 500 f/4L IS - the 500 comes first on my wish list
Canon 200 f/1.8L or Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS - the legend of course; I could always get the zoom...
Canon 35L or Canon 50L - both, but I guess the 35 would come first
Canon 24L or Sigma 20mm f/1.8 - easy, the Canon :)
Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 or Canon 100-400L - already got it, but no Sigma for me...
Canon TS-E 24L f/3.5 or Canon 24-70 f/2.8 - because the TS-E is in my bag already :)
Canon 85L or Canon 85 f/1.8 + Canon 50 f/1.4 (Together) - easy.... :)
Kind regards, Wim
