From a personal perspective, I don't want to spend a great deal of money accesorising my S2 IS as I want to invest the bulk of my budget into more lenses and ultimately a second DSLR body in the next 9 months. I really just aim to use the S2 IS as a point and shoot camera.
So, given my intention, what do you folks recommend regarding accessories like filters, lens adaptors and dare I say it, teleconverters.
Thanks in advance.

If you already have an XT and are saving up for another DSLR body, then save your money for those. The only thing you should think about is getting a good set of filters (58mm) that you can use with all your lenses, not just the S2. I wouldnt suggest the tele converters when you already have a 70-300. You shouldnt need many accesories at all for a point and shoot which should be a back up.

From a previous S2 owner, I second that motion...adapter tube and some good filters.

from a current S2 owner, I think the motion, adapter tube and filters and maybe a fast SD Card but anything over 45X would do I think.
