my idea is the thought of "non spaces" which in a nutshell means places that don’t really exist "a world where people are born in the clinic and die in hospital, transit points and temporary abodes" places that we as humans pass through everyday of our lives but never stay for more time than we have to before they turn into the past and are replaced by real spaces. places of festering longevity shanty towns and places doomed for demolition, bus stops and waiting rooms, airports and dry cleaners

I like the pics but they seem too clean for a Manchester railway station somehow.............

Good photos. They're helped with your dialog.

I think your location definitely qualifies as a non-space. Who there really enjoys being there? "Oh! I'm going to be in the train station today!" No, it's more like, "I have to fight the crowds at the station." "I have to guard the thankless public at the station." The place is filled with customers who want to be anywhere but there and employees who have to deal with them.

Non-space indeed.
