not a car id assume the guys from over the pond would be familiar with, maybee some of the european lot might have some clue as to what it is.

i use the car for track days and abit of fun driving at the weekend really, after driving most of the high powered jap imports available i still class this car as one of the best for hands on driving, its really raw and offers a really challenging drive.

its msa registered and a homogolated model and really does put alot of more power full cars to shame...

in a rolf harrish style voice -can you guess what it is yet:D-

its actually a pug 106 rallye, the series 2 edition.
this particular one is touching around the 190bhp mark, and weighs in at around 720kg, do the power to weight ratio math on that ;)

its a really fun and challenging car, definately wont be for sale any time soon :)

Redtop SR w/121km, HKS fmic, HKS SSQV (new style), Heavy Throttle hotpipe w/hks flange, Greddy oil filter reloc kit, Competition Clutch street disc + ultra light flywheel, Fujita 3" air filter, walbro 255lph, Greddy turbo elbow, Blitz downpipe, Megan test pipe, Apexi GT Spec Exhaust, Tomei 256/256 Poncams(BEST performance upgrade I've done so far!), Greddy Profec type S boost controller, Cusco oil catch tank, Greddy turbo timer, Tein Flex w/EDFC, 98 SE 5 lug, 350z wheels, subframe collars, Tein front + rear strut bars, Kouki tails, Defi Link BF 60mm boost and water temp gauges + defi link controller, 5k HIDs, JDM cluster that came with my front clip, Koyo radiator, FAL 345 electric fans and samco hoses and most importantly ice cold working ac.

My turbo seal on the exhaust side went out again on my stock t25(I'm on my 2nd stock turbo) so I ordered a GT2871R .64 that should be here in a few weeks. I also have custom color Volk TE37's 18x9.5 +12 and 18x10.5 +15 on order since Sept. so those may come in anytime now as well :)

Looks like selective colouring. Easiest way is via Photoshop. Duplicate the layer. Desaturate the top layer and just erase where the car is.

The top layer will remain black and white for everything but the car and as the original layer is still in colour, the car will be as normal.

Set your camera up on a tripod, take one shot with the hood up, one with the hood shut, and then put the two together in photoshop. I'm sure there's a detailed thread around here somewhere. If anyone knows, hopefully they'll chime in.

yea, gm tried it... think GTO.. what a fluke that was... the monaro is so much better looking than the ugly i want to be a 98 two door grandprix GTO... sucks.. so much potential, but they killed it. i agree the 200 is sweet looking

Thanks, I am based in the UK...family in the states though so spend time on both sides of the pond.

The "skill" mainly comes down to just having a steady hand when masking... but the "trick" is to build the image up a little bit at a time and break the job down into many small tasks.
There's nothing fancy involved, just many small simple things (like masking an area, copy/pasting it as a new layer, then doing a mesh warp on it, and blending it back in, then repeating for another section).
