My current ride is a 2000 GMC Sierra Z71 with 200K on the clock.
Project cars are a 1967 Camaro RS/SS L78 my father originally owned and a 1967 Chevy C10 pickup (currently for sale).

I am glad you know the model number "E92" most people think its an "E90"

Sounds like you own an M3 too?

Yeah the Carrera, it sucks for someone who works alot of hours and do not have the luxury time to do hand-wash.

i know these type of car-thru-washes do give spider webs on the car.

I thought that e90=4-door, e91=wagon, e92=2-door, and e93=convertible. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I thought it broke down in the BMW-speak. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_E90

Anyway, love the e90 (;)). (two-time e30 owner, with three others in the family, including an M3)

The lesson learned here is never to spread your legs over a reflective surface that is angled toward the camera...

As far as the car goes, I've always kinda liked the looks of the Caliber SRT-4, and superb choice on the color!

As far as the car goes, I've always kinda liked the looks of the Caliber SRT-4, and superb choice on the color!

Something tells me that comes naturally to a model like that :lol:

SRT is a good look for sure. Makes any Dodge model look great :D

lol youre not the only one. I hate it when I let a girl get up there and shes too dumb to follow the simple "keep your feet at the edges near the frame" rule.

2006 Honda Element EX-P Tango Red Pearl after one hell of a detailing session last weekend.

Minimum postprocessing to share what I actually saw through the viewfinder.

A tip for those about to sell their cars (money shot): 3/4 frontal view, low angle, headlights on, taken at dusk ( <- very important, gives the best light for freshly waxed paint), front wheels slightly turned to show off those rims if you have something to show or not to show and in an open setting such as parking lots. No, it's not for sale at this moment.

17-85mm @ f/5.6 for all 4 pics (focal lengths vary) would like shallower DOF, alas, it's the best I can get from this lens with this particular setup.

You're driving around in the US with a car with a German plate???? :lol::lol::eek::eek: Why HN? Coincidence?

It's just for looks... SC doesn't require front plates, so it's all cosmetic. I bought a used plate off eBay that was randomly picked, so I just got lucky with the HN, I guess... :cool:

I know. When I got my plates at the local DMV, I saw how returning plates were "liberated" from that seal and then put in a large box to be shredded. Now I know better :cool:. Can you get plates from all countries or this a specialty for Americans with German built cars living in states without the requirement for a front plate?

No requirements... a lot of people in the states run them on the front of their car... It's strictly cosmetic, just like a sticker or anything else.

not a van of the rear. maybe if it was like a diffuser or something but the whole kit kinda takes away from the beauty of the rear end hehe

Not a huge fan of the rear myself, but I had to complete the kit. And, at the time there weren't any diffusers available. I'll eventually get a C55 rear bumper and a carbon fiber diffuser, unless something else becomes available.

Not a big fan of W203, but looks good with the body kit here.
Personally, #2 has too much distortion for my taste. If you wanted to emphasize the snout, a 1973 Cadillac or Lincoln Continental, e.g. would have been more effective .
Think about the car and what it tries to represent. With the C-class (AMG), I'd emphasize the mobility and compactness, and think about a shot with a focal length that'll bring out that quality.

P.S. I love the look of W204

I like the W204 but not a fan of the rear. I'd like to take the front of a 204 and combine it with the rear of a 203. lol

Seams like most new Mercedes lack something in that department.

Hooray Mustangs! And a "laserred" one at that, one of my favorite color choices on the sn95 new edge stangs. But I do have to ask about the tires/rims. On the rear is that a 275 tire on a 17x10'' rim? It looks WAY Bulky. Some serious beef out back sir.
